A story of passion and commitment
Tropical Extracts was born of a deep love of beautiful scents and essential oils, and a desire to promote sustainable, responsible luxury. From the outset, we have placed people and the preservation of the environment at the heart of our approach.
Working closely with local producers, we guarantee exceptional quality and absolute traceability, and actively support the economic and social development of Malaysian communities.
Sustainable and responsible production
Our essential oils come exclusively from plantations certified by MTIB (Malaysian Timber Industry Berhad) for agarwood and MARDI (Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute) for others, which respect biodiversity and apply rigorous processes that exclude any controversial or allergenic substances. We regularly conduct strict checks in partnership with accredited laboratories to guarantee purity, safety and consistent excellence.

Our essential oils are carefully selected from emblematic regions of Malaysia such as Terengganu, Pahang, Kelantan, Melaka and other territories renowned for their unique botanical richness. Thanks to our direct relationships with these local producers, we ensure not only perfect quality control, but also total transparency in our working methods.
To reinforce this proximity, we offer our customers immersive visits to our partner plantations, so that they can discover our sustainable production methods at first hand, meet the local producers and gain a better understanding of the exceptional origins of our products.

With extensive experience working for multinationals and innovative SMEs across Europe and Asia, he has a thorough understanding of the complex regulations governing the fragrance industry and ensures that the products offered are compliant and of the highest quality. His knowledge of the Malaysian economic fabric and local ‘resources’ enables him to unearth hidden gems.
